Interactive Installation - MurMur 2019
Murmur is an interactive installation around a piano with the elements of my blood and tears. When a piano key is played, bubbles pop out from it. The bubbles stay for a short time – many people may not notice. but at least these bubbles existed, as dose my voice. I feel like I have been spending my time hiding, struggling whether to be seen. This installation is a real-time interactive work and a silent music conversation between me and the audiences.
The ‘voice’ is not referring to the sound from piano but the ‘voice’ from bubbles. Audience may connect the bubble and the piano easily, but there are some blank page for them to think about why there is some elements of blood and plants around the piano. I hope audience may receive different thoughts from the contrast and conflict between this installation, it is not about the meaning but more about the experience when they play the piano.
