Shelter is a series of photographs that drawing the concept of what ‘Home’ is. According to my childhood, I have been living in different countries and moving around cities due to my family issue. A human-like snail is an epitome of my own wish in which I hope to become a snail so that I have my own home wherever I go. The plant which is captured within some images is inspired by a movie ‘ Leon’ . ‘Leon’ himself talks about his plant that it is his best friend as he never complains and they have in common that they don't have roots. Also the plant (being a plant) has no sensations, no feelings, cannot move, cannot make a sound— contrary to a dog, for instance. In that sense it might represent the idea that one can not feel emotional whatever he/she may encounters.
